Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Director of IT for INTRUST Bank Arena. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Staff and Resource Management Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions, and major modifications to IT network Daily management of IT staff Oversees the administration and maintenance of the company’s entire infrastructure including Administration and maintenance of the venue’s LAN/WAN Implementation of required network security Venue’s telephone system Computer stations and software Oversight of troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery providing expert support when necessary Oversight of venue help desk including direct response for escalated issues Interacts with internal and external clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of all software, hardware, and other IT supplies in conjunction with Legends Global corporate requirements Ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly Coordinate with management team to ensure all goals are met for each event at INTRUST Bank Arena. Knowledge and ability to provide POS support to Food & Beverage. Knowledge and ability to support ticketing system and POS transactions. Provide IT support to Capitol Federal Amphitheater, Century II, and Orpheum Theater as needed. Communication Effectively communicates relevant IT-related information to superiors Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully Communicates with Legends Global Venue IT team to ensure adherence to all requirements, ensure awareness of major issues, and to ensure all IT items are properly anticipated and budgeted. Oversee and manage, when needed financials' of the department, purchasing, budgeting, and budget review. Position requires the ability to work at all Legends Global venues in Wichita and Andover. Must successfully pass a background and credit check Minimum of 8 years’ experience with the below technical competencies: Microsoft 365/Exchange Online Active Directory/Entra Active Directory On-premises file sharing and cloud-based file management Enterprise grade wired and wireless network infrastructure Server systems administration Enterprise grade Voice over IP (VoIP) Telephony Point of Sale Implementation and Administration (preferred) Must have previous experience managing help desk-based end user support Superior customer service and interaction skills Ability to work nights/weekends/holidays Education and/or Experience College degree preferred in a related field 8-10 years of direct experience in duties will be considered in lieu of a degree Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
