Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Must have 4+ years of experience in a management level IT position
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and system administration, phone systems, databases, and data storage systems
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, networks, operating systems, and cloud solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Windows server environments
  • Experience with network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs)
  • Proficiency with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Understanding of cloud services and hybrid environments
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
  • Familiarity with enterprise backup solutions
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Project management capabilities
  • Budget management experience
  • Vendor negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • IT Infrastructure & Operations Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure including servers, networks, workstations, and telecommunications systems
  • Ensure system reliability, security, and optimal performance across all technology platforms
  • Oversee daily IT operations including help desk support, system maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and technology refresh cycles
  • Manage relationships with hardware and software vendors
  • Team Leadership Supervise and mentor IT staff, including help desk technicians and system administrators
  • Assign projects and daily tasks to IT team members
  • Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs
  • Foster a customer-service oriented culture within the IT department
  • Security & Compliance Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols and best practices
  • Manage data backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Monitor security threats and respond to incidents appropriately
  • Manage user access controls and permissions
  • Strategic Planning & Budgeting Develop and manage the annual IT budget
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve business operations
  • Create and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Plan for future technology needs and scalability
  • Present IT initiatives and ROI analysis to senior leadership
  • End-User Support Ensure timely resolution of technical issues for all employees
  • Manage hardware and software procurement for end users
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding IT processes
  • Provide training and documentation for business applications
  • Maintain inventory of all IT assets
