This position is responsible for all aspects of the internal audit function, including planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling all audit activities. The Director will lead the Audit Services Department in assessing business risks associated with corporate strategies, objectives, and operations; performing independent evaluations of vital processes, programs, and functions for the company and its subsidiaries; developing audit recommendations that improve operations and respond to risk; and monitoring the effectiveness of key internal controls throughout the organization. Arkansas Children’s is the only hospital system in the state dedicated to caring for children, uniquely shaping pediatric care in Arkansas.
