About The Position

This position leads efforts towards institutional excellence through data management and utilization, institutional analysis, strategic planning, change management, and project management. This position is key in achieving Hispanic Serving Institution status, meeting the goals of both our strategic plan and Riverland’s Equity 2030 goals through the optimization of college processes and systems to promote student success, targeted recruitment, and continuous institutional improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of related work experience -OR- Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years of related work experience -OR- an equivalent combination of education and experienced.
  • An associate degree could be substituted for 6 months of experience, a bachelor’s degree is 12 months and a master’s degree is 18 months within any of the following disciplines: strategic planning, research, organizational assessment, performance excellence or related.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical methods, statistical analysis, and computer programs and software packages.
  • Group facilitation skills and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctoral degree in related area.
  • Preference will be given to those with advanced education or experience related to formal research, evaluation, and strategic planning facilitation.
  • Experience at a Hispanic Serving Institution.
  • Direct experience with projects related to educational equity and/or education for social justice.
  • Bilingual/multilingual fluent in Spanish, Karen, Karenni, Somali, Pohnpeian, French, Nuer, Anuak, or other languages that reflect our student body, workforce, and communities.
  • Demonstrate experience working with multicultural and underserved populations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Institutional Effectiveness efforts in systematic organizational analysis, assessment, and performance excellence efforts.
  • Lead Strategic Planning.
  • Project and Change Management.
  • Perform other duties assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and maintain the organization's reputation as a viable business partner.
