About The Position

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your infrastructure engineering career to the next level. As a Director of Infrastructure Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Branch Infrastructure Operations Engineering team, you will lead the engineering, deployment, and operational support of technology platforms critical to our branch network.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience with proven project or service delivery management background within a global financial or regulated enterprise environment.
  • Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments
  • Deep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)
  • Drives to continue to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of the product
  • Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the engineering, deployment, and lifecycle management of branch ATM, Teller, Print, and VDI platforms.
  • Lead the engineering and operational support for the application portfolio that underpins these platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Champion the adoption of AI and automation technologies at all levels to improve developer and engineering efficiency, accelerate solution delivery, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive automation, standardization, and modernization across all branch technology platforms.
  • Ensure robust monitoring, rapid incident response, and proactive problem management for all supported systems.
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for branch infrastructure and application platforms, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering and operations team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Partner with business, application, and security teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and operational standards for all branch platforms and applications.
