About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Industrial Engineering provides strategic leadership for enterprise-wide industrial engineering initiatives, driving operational efficiency, scalability, and process standardization. This role oversees manufacturing optimization, new product integration, facility planning, and supply chain improvements, while partnering with executive leadership to implement lean and automation strategies that support business growth and cost reduction.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, or operational excellence roles.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing teams in manufacturing, logistics, or healthcare operations.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale facility transitions, including consolidations, relocations, and manufacturing expansions.
  • Experience in new product introduction, process validation, and optimizing production scalability.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to support operational sites and strategic projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Experience in medical equipment manufacturing, healthcare logistics, or other regulated industries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide industrial engineering strategy, driving process standardization and operational excellence across all facilities.
  • Oversee large-scale facility expansions, consolidations, and workflow optimization to improve efficiency and resource utilization.
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives to enhance manufacturing performance and scalability.
  • Partner with Manufacturing and cross-functional teams to integrate new products into production processes and optimize workflows.
  • Support business growth through operational modeling, process mapping, and data-driven analysis for new opportunities.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and insights to guide strategic decisions and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop the Industrial Engineering team, fostering leadership and technical expertise.
