Director of Imaging
About The Position
This position is responsible for performing technical, managerial and administrative work in the day to day delivery of all radiology services at MCHD. The Radiology Manager is responsible to perform imaging procedures in an accurate, precise, timely and professional manner. All duties must be performed following the policies and procedures of Moore County Hospital District and the Radiology Department. He/she maintains good communications with the Radiologist, Director of Ancillary Services and all other hospital staff. Provides direct and indirect care to patients of all ages: including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology Program required.
- Five years of related experience in Radiology
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Current Texas License as Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of JCAHO accreditation process
- Personal computer skills
- Excellent technical, communication, organization and planning skills
- Knowledge of Federal, State and Hospital District standards for health care providers.
