We are seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to oversee all U.S. HR operations while supporting key global initiatives for a growing, dynamic organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of HR management experience (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of employment law.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Payroll systems knowledge; ADP WFN experience is a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Creative problem‑solving and strategic thinking.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Highly organized with strong time‑management abilities.
  • Collaborative, humble, and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable working with diverse teams and communication styles.

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCP preferred.
  • ERP experience a plus.
  • Workday experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies, best practices, and compliance programs across multiple states.
  • Partner with leaders to guide employee relations, resolve concerns, and conduct investigations.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Oversee performance management, improvement plans, and termination reviews.
  • Coordinate annual performance and compensation cycles.
  • Drive initiatives that elevate productivity, engagement, and career development.
  • Enhance recruitment, screening, and onboarding processes.
  • Review job descriptions, requisitions, offers, and confidentiality agreements for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support global talent initiatives to strengthen career growth pathways.
  • Oversee bi‑weekly and special payroll cycles with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure multi‑state payroll tax, unemployment, and benefits compliance (401k, COBRA, FMLA, Workers Comp).
  • Analyze compensation trends to ensure competitive total rewards programs.
  • Support international payroll complexities and expat arrangements.
  • Collaborate with HR teams worldwide to align practices and policies.
  • Drive consistency across geographies and support initiatives that span multiple time zones and cultures.
  • Supervise HR staff, providing coaching, development, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee departmental planning, budgeting, documentation, and goal setting.
