What to expect as the Director of Human Resources: Responsible for the delivery of the Human Resources (HR) functions in the hospital. Provide leadership, direction, coordination, and administration to the HR staff. Carry-out her/his duties by adhering to the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct, acts in the best interest of Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital, and fully support the mission, vision, and values of Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. Responsible for overseeing all human resources issues including staffing, staff relations, orientation and development, compensation and benefits. Direct the Human Resources Department; is a resource person for the department. Develop and recommends human resources practices and procedures that assist in the growth of the facility that will provide an employee-orientated, high-performance culture. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. Provide direction and guidance over complex and varies work typically impacting major multiple areas of the hospital. Facilitate collaboration between own areas of responsibility and others for the good of the organization.
