About The Position

US Conec, a global leader in high-density fiber-optic connectivity solutions powering AI and next-generation data centers, is seeking a Human Resources Director for our Fort Worth, TX manufacturing site. This highly visible, onsite role provides both strategic direction and hands-on leadership across HR operations, employee relations, workplace culture, compliance, and workforce development. The HR Director will partner closely with site leadership and Corporate HR to ensure a positive employee experience, promote organizational excellence, and support continued business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience including 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and influence leadership in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing employee relations with professionalism, fairness, and sound judgment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining a positive workplace culture

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • HR certification (SHRM-SCP or SPHR)
  • Experience supporting multi-site or corporate HR initiatives
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll coordination, and HR analytics

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute local HR strategies that align with corporate initiatives and business goals
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to site leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management
  • Strengthen employee engagement, workplace culture, and communication across the site
  • Oversee employee relations, investigations, corrective action, and conflict resolution with fairness and confidentiality
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, wage and hour, etc.)
  • Partner with Corporate Talent Acquisition to support hiring priorities and ensure an effective candidate and new-hire experience
  • Support learning and development programs, leadership training, and employee development plans
  • Oversee local HR operations including HRIS accuracy, payroll coordination, and employee record maintenance
  • Provide workforce insights to Corporate HR and support implementation of compensation and benefits programs
  • Use HR metrics to identify trends, guide decision-making, and support process improvement
  • Lead HR communications to reinforce culture, transparency, and alignment with business objectives
  • Support change management, organizational development initiatives, and special HR projects when needed
