About The Position

This position supports the work of the YMCA of the Rockies, which operates a mission-based family and group conference and retreat, serving more than 225,000 guests annually. The Director of Hospitality Technology is primarily responsible for leading platform governance, system integration, vendor management, vendor escalations, and continuous improvement. The role partners deeply with Operations to drive adoption, training, and measurable outcomes. This role is a senior positions that combine property technology planning/decision-making with full lifecycle ownership of hotel applications (PMS/POS and adjacent systems).

Requirements

• 10+ years in hospitality technology, hotel applications, or property systems management with deep PMS, POS, and F&B ecosystem hands-on experience.
• Demonstrated ownership of a portfolio of hotel systems (PMS, POS, and adjacent platforms) including lifecycle management, optimization, and cross-property alignment.
• Strong integration and interface fluency (APIs, file-based interfaces, SSO, payment flows) and ability to troubleshoot end-to-end issues across vendors.
• 8+ years of complex budget management experience in hospitality technology, hotel applications, or property systems management
• Proven vendor management and escalation leadership; ability to drive outcomes through SLAs and disciplined incident and issue management.
• Multi-property hospitality experience and enterprise reporting/analytics understanding.
• Ability to translate operational workflows into system configuration and user-ready processes; strong facilitation skills for workshops and focus groups.
• Experience operating with security and reliability requirements for guest and payment systems.
• Ability to travel at least quarterly to YMCA of the Rockies as needed.
