About The Position

The Director of Hospitality & Culinary Operations oversees all guest-facing hospitality and culinary services across designated King Aerospace locations. This role ensures a seamless, professional, and high-touch experience aligned with King Aerospace’s VIP service standards. Responsibilities include management of hospitality operations, restaurant operations (Jake’s Joint at the KACC facility), executive dining services, catering coordination, facility presentation, and private event execution. The position provides operational oversight at KA Ardmore, KA Arkansas, KA San Antonio, El Lobo Ranch, the Home Office (Addison), and the Chairman’s residence, ensuring service excellence, financial accountability, regulatory compliance, and brand consistency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of progressive hospitality or restaurant management experience required; significant culinary leadership experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with executive leadership, guests, vendors, and employees.
  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential matters with discretion.
  • Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, review invoices, calculate food and beverage costs, and monitor profitability metrics.
  • Ability to assess operational challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, scheduling software, and inventory management systems.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any licenses or permits required by local, state, or federal regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and travel between locations as business needs dictate.
  • Professional demeanor and adherence to company appearance standards required.

  • Experience managing multi-location hospitality or food service operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hospitality and culinary operations to ensure exceptional guest and client experiences across all assigned locations.
  • Direct restaurant operations for Jake’s Joint, including kitchen management, front-of-house coordination, service standards, and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain standardized recipes, food presentation standards, and service procedures consistent with company expectations.
  • Plan menus, analyze food and beverage costs, establish pricing strategies, and monitor profitability.
  • Approve food preparation and presentation to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with established standards.
  • Coordinate catering and executive dining services for VIP guests, company events, and special functions.
  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise hospitality and culinary staff; conduct performance evaluations and staff development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, sanitation, liquor, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, place supply orders, and inspect deliveries for quality and accuracy.
  • Oversee inventory management, equipment maintenance, and facility standards to ensure operational readiness.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare operational and financial reports including sales, cost controls, and staffing performance metrics.
  • Support executive events, private functions, and off-site activities at El Lobo Ranch and the Chairman’s residence.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
