About The Position

Any Baby Can has a current opening for a Director of Home Visiting position. The Director of Home Visiting provides leadership, strategic direction, and oversight for Any Baby Can’s Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) and Parents as Teachers (PAT) programs within the Family Strengthening division. This position ensures program fidelity, quality service delivery, and strong team performance while promoting innovation, collaboration, and sustainability. The Director of Home Visiting provides direct supervision to the NFP Nurse Supervisors and the PAT Program Supervisor, supports program evaluation and funding efforts, and represents the agency in local and national collaborations focused on early childhood and family well-being

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, Early Childhood Development, Education, Public Health, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional leadership experience in maternal/child health, early childhood, or social services.
  • Minimum of 5 years of program and contract management experience.
  • Demonstrated success in managing evidence-based home visiting programs or similar community-based services.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to inspire and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and data management systems.
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel within the assigned region; if driving own vehicle, must have valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work more than 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and kneel as necessary to fulfill daily duties assigned.
  • Ability to effectively/clearly communicate.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for all home visiting programs (NFP and PAT) to ensure alignment with agency goals and community needs.
  • Serve as the program and project contact for state, local, and private funder contracts and grants, ensuring contract oversight, performance monitoring, timely reporting, and compliance with all deliverables.
  • Monitor and evaluate all program activities, ensuring fidelity to evidence-based models, contract deliverables, and grant requirements.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to assess program outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and guide strategic planning.
  • Ensure programs maintain compliance with professional standards of practice, risk management policies, and agency protocols.
  • Support the development and monitoring of programmatic budgets and identify opportunities for sustainability and growth.
  • Directly supervise Nurse Supervisors (NFP) and the PAT Program Supervisor.
  • Provide regular reflective supervision, coaching, and support to promote staff development and retention.
  • Ensure that supervisors receive ongoing professional development and that all staff have opportunities for skill-building and advancement.
  • Foster a team culture that promotes collaboration, communication, and work/life balance.
  • Represent Any Baby Can and the Family Strengthening division at community coalitions, advisory boards, and advocacy events.
  • Collaborate with the NFP and PAT National Service Office, funders, and community partners to support program sustainability and visibility.
  • Maintain and expand community referral networks that strengthen client access to comprehensive family support.
  • Contributes to the development of logic models, performance frameworks, and outcome measures for home visiting programs.
  • Provide input for grant proposals, budgets, and narratives related to home visiting initiatives.
  • Collaborate with agency leadership to ensure that home visiting services align with the agency’s strategic priorities and integrate with other Family Strengthening initiatives.
