About The Position

The Director of Home Visiting Programs oversees operations of Healthy Families programs and Family Support Services. The Director works with Program Managers and leadership teams throughout Catholic Charities locations to ensure programs are running efficiently and meeting the needs of participants working in partnership with the Department of Children and Families and Healthy Families Massachusetts to ensure high quality programming, assessment, service planning, and case review with knowledge of strength-based service performance. The Director ensures program compliance through regular supervision and direction, as necessary. Travel across multiple locations is required.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social services or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct senior management/director experience in a social service agency or equivalent industry. Prior supervision of employees is required.
  • Proven skill with program budgeting and managing diverse teams of staff.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills to be able to build stakeholder relationships, coach, build and develop teams and succession planning.
  • Experience with computer programs including Microsoft Office suite, TEAMS and ZOOM, and other technical platforms.
  • Access to reliable transportation to perform the functions of the position. Travel between agency sites is required.

  • Implement and reinforce required policies and procedures.
  • Participate with the finance department in preparing the annual budget. Responsible for standard operations that stay within the established budget.
  • Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of data and reports provided to the Agency.
  • Maintain the highest standard of ethical conduct and professional responsibility, including maintaining confidentiality, to children, families, colleagues, the Agency, and the community
  • Ability to maintain emotional intelligence control under stress. Work with frequent interruptions.
  • Work is performed in an office environment and other locations as required. The use of office equipment, sitting, standing, and driving is a daily activity including regular interaction with employees and at times program participants.
  • May provide visitation and schedule coverage as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
