Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN or BSN license in South Dakota
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in home healthcare
At least 3 years of supervisory and caregiver management experience
CPR certification
Extensive knowledge of state and federal home health laws and regulatory standards
Excellent management, organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Oversee the delivery of clinical and caregiver services, ensuring the highest quality of patient/client care in accordance with home health laws and regulatory standards
Coordinate and manage a team of nurses, therapists, CNAs, aides and social workers to ensure client and patient goals are met
Manage Medicare Regulations, OASIS standards, and Quality Assurance Process Improvement (QAPI)
Recruit, hire, orient, train, supervise and retain qualified clinicians and caregivers
Ensure medical supplies/equipment are delivered and staff are trained on care procedures
Assess patient/client needs, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of satisfaction
Effectively manage financial resources and profitability related to the delivery of quality patient/client care
