Rainmaker Hospitality is looking for a dynamic, relationship-driven Director of Group Catering to lead group sales efforts for Courtyard Lexington North and SpringHill Suites Louisville Hurstborne . Requirements
- Previous hotel sales or catering sales experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills
- A proactive, positive attitude with a passion for hospitality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping clients feeling valued
- Comfort working independently while thriving in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Own and grow group and catering sales for both hotels, from initial inquiry through contract execution
- Respond to and actively pursue group leads from brand channels, third parties, and direct outreach
- Negotiate rates, manage contracts, and secure deposits and payment details
- Collaborate with on-property teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences
- Identify new opportunities in corporate groups, SMERF, social events, and local demand drivers
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and property tours
- Maintain accurate records and forecasting in brand-required systems
- Participate in strategy sessions with leadership to drive performance and innovation
