About The Position

The Director of Grants Management oversees all pre- and post-award administration for grants and investigator-initiated sponsored projects, with a particular emphasis on federal and state awards. This role ensures compliance with sponsor guidelines, federal/state regulations, and institutional policies, while supporting project teams across the grant lifecycle. The Director collaborates with faculty and staff within the institutes and centers to support grants and other sponsored programs administration and leads process improvements, training initiatives, and cross-functional coordination with corporate business partners.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years required. 10+ years preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Certified Research Administrator (CRA) at time of hire strongly preferred, required within one year.
