This is a strategic role, where the successful applicant will be responsible for helping develop and then drive execution of commercial strategies with GDS partners and other technology providers. The role sits on the supplier side of the organisation, within the Global Business Partnerships (GBP) team. This team is a strategic component of the business model and value proposition for GBT, contributing significantly to revenue generation and customer value.

Requirements

Proven record of leading change across the business
Deep understanding of business travel
Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking abilities
Excellent organizational and planning skills, an attention to detail and ability to deliver multiple projects within deadlines
Positive relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners
Experience in the distribution space
Ability to work across time zones - this is a global team
Proven track record of leading a team - this role will include direct reports

Experience of working with product and technology from a commercial perspective is ideal

Responsibilities

Find opportunities and develop and implement strategy to optimize content options to meet customer needs
Partnering with GDS’s and other aggregators to ensure tight-knit collaboration on distribution matters, alignment on goals and improving the overall offering to joint customers
Work through content related issues and apply solutions as required to overcome challenges
Working with internal partners to ensure alignment & progress on key goals
Develop commercial models to meet the evolving needs of the marketplace
Ensure costs are well handled and controlled
Distill large data sets into actionable insights that drive strategy
