About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to lead franchise growth for multiple brands within a dynamic, high-performing portfolio. As Director of Franchise Development, you will be responsible for recruiting, engaging, and onboarding high-quality franchise candidates, while shaping strategies that drive market expansion and enterprise growth. You will collaborate with leadership teams, marketing, and operational stakeholders to implement data-driven territory plans, track performance metrics, and optimize the franchise development process. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills, a competitive mindset, and the ability to navigate complex multi-brand environments. Success in this role will directly impact revenue growth, brand reach, and franchisee satisfaction. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ franchise development experience, ideally in a multi-brand or matrixed organization.
  • Proven track record in franchise recruitment, including both organic lead generation and broker-facilitated sales.
  • Established relationships with franchise broker organizations and knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions and leadership levels.
  • Highly organized, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30–40%.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, evaluate, and secure franchise territory awards with qualified, financially capable candidates to expand brand presence.
  • Collaborate closely with brand and portfolio leadership to align on territory objectives and growth strategies.
  • Utilize CRM systems and sales processes to track franchisee progression and manage pipeline effectively.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and strategic recommendations to support franchise expansion plans.
  • Report on KPIs and franchise growth metrics, ensuring goals are met or exceeded.
  • Build and maintain relationships with franchise broker networks and attend industry events to promote brand visibility.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust annual unit growth strategies in collaboration with internal teams to maximize results.
