About The Position
Responsible for overall programmatic success; overseeing the day-to-day program operations; identifying and leading efforts to resolve systemic issues; collaborating with community partners and stakeholders; building staff capacity and motivating and supporting staff to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work or related field plus a minimum of 5 years of experience working in the child welfare system or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and may be required to use own vehicle when other means of transportation is unavailable.
- Must meet credentialing and background checks required for employment
- Must demonstrate genuine empathy and concern for individuals as indicated in our Corporate Vison, Mission, and Values Statements.
- Adhere to applicable city, county, state, and federal laws and regulations, internal and JCAHO standards.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of child welfare practices, laws and regulations, foster parent recruitment and retention strategies, Community based approaches to child welfare, strength-based approaches to family engagement and service delivery, Program management and administration and data integration in program management and decision making.
