About The Position

As the Director of Food & Nutrition Services, you will oversee the daily operations of the Food & Nutrition Services Department within a long‑term care facility that is part of the Cape Cod Healthcare system. You will lead and develop a dedicated team, ensure high‑quality resident dining experiences, and maintain strong client relationships. This role is responsible for operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and fostering a positive service culture aligned with resident‑centered care. Long-Term Care Facility • Avg. Census 70–90 Residents • Central Dining • $1.4M Managed Volume

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, or related field preferred.
Three to five years of foodservice management experience, ideally within healthcare, long‑term care, or senior dining.
Experience in resident dining or institutional foodservice highly preferred.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to build teams and drive results.
Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee all financial aspects of the department, including P&L management, budgeting, and cost controls.
Maintain strong, professional relationships with the client and facility leadership.
Partner with the Chef and management team to deliver nutritious, high‑quality meals that support clinical needs and enhance resident satisfaction.
Implement new culinary and service initiatives in collaboration with company culinary and marketing teams.
Serve as the primary liaison between the company, the client, residents, and the broader community.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and sanitation standards, including state, local, and long‑term care guidelines.
Lead, train, and develop staff to support strong performance, engagement, and service excellence.
