Job SummaryNorthwest Stadium, home of the Washington Commanders, is a premier NFL venue located in Landover, Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C. The stadium hosts Commanders home games, major concerts, and large-scale events, offering a fast-paced, high-energy environment with a strong focus on guest experience and premium hospitality. Lead the engine that powers unforgettable guest experiences. The Director of Operations will oversee and elevate all day-to-day operational functions at Northwest Stadium, ensuring seamless execution of events, operational excellence, and alignment with Levy standards. This role will partner closely with venue leadership to drive efficiency, safety, and exceptional service while supporting strategic and financial objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Operations, or related field
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of operations leadership experience in large-scale venues, sports, entertainment, or hospitality environments
  • Experience managing multi-department operations and large hourly workforces
  • Proficiency with operational budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance standards applicable to large venues

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operational departments to ensure consistent execution of venue standards
  • Develop and manage operational budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with culinary, finance, HR, and event partners to support venue goals
  • Lead operational planning and execution for large-scale events
  • Analyze operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
