Job SummaryLead the engine that powers one of Major League Soccer’s premier venues. As Director of Operations, you will oversee and elevate all stadium operations, ensuring GEODIS Park delivers seamless, safe, and world-class experiences for every event. You will set the operational vision, guide cross-functional teams, and drive excellence across facilities, event operations, and guest services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Facilities Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive operations leadership experience, preferably in large venues, sports, entertainment, or hospitality environments
- Proven experience managing large teams and multiple operational departments
- Strong knowledge of facilities operations, event management, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency with operational planning tools, budgeting, and performance reporting systems
Responsibilities
- Direct all day-to-day stadium operations, including facilities, event operations, security, and guest services
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to support events and year-round venue use
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls for operational departments
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal partners, league officials, vendors, and third-party service providers
- Lead, coach, and develop operational leadership teams to drive accountability and performance
