About The Position

The Director of Finance leads both strategic and operational finance functions, partnering with executive leadership to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and data-driven decisions that support growth, profitability, and long-term enterprise value. This role also manages accounting operations, consolidations, and team development across multiple entities. Director of Finance needed to lead accounting, budgeting, cash flow, and strategic financial operations across multi-location retail and distribution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred).
7–10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
Exposure to FP&A and accounting operations in multi-location, retail, or distribution environments.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, and executive reporting.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Provide financial leadership and insights for executive decision-making.
Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
Perform advanced financial modeling, KPI development, and scenario analysis.
Oversee monthly and annual close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
Manage multi-unit financial consolidations and reporting.
Establish and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.
Lead finance system optimization and automation initiatives.
Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and HR.
Build, mentor, and manage the finance and accounting team.
