The Director, Market Finance requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment. The Finance Director in the Intermountain Region will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy and operational effectiveness. This position will ensure that the region's financial practices align with overall organizational goals while driving growth and improving underwriting margin. You will be instrumental in advancing the financial health of the Intermountain Region, guiding strategic initiatives, and fostering collaboration across various departments. This role requires a high level of expertise and the ability to influence key decisions that drive organizational success. Key Responsibilities 1. Bid Strategy Influencing Decisions: influence decision-making processes that significantly impact growth and underwriting margin. Financial SCT Review 2. Budget Management Collaborative Budgeting: Work closely with Divisional, Corporate, and IPA counterparts to establish appropriate growth and underwriting margin budgets. 3. Contracting Strategy Development Negotiation Support: Assist in the development of strategies to aid negotiations with providers, ensuring financially favorable terms and conditions. Network Strategy Advisory: Advise senior leaders on network strategy, fostering relationships and optimizing network performance. Advising on Provider Contracting: Provide expert guidance on provider contracting decisions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. 5. Financial Performance Advisory Key Advisor Role: Serve as a key advisor to senior leaders on decisions impacting financial performance, ensuring that all strategic initiatives are financially sound. Prioritization of Work: Prioritize and execute tasks arising from Divisional and Corporate requests while delegating departmental and regional priorities to Leads and their teams. 6. Expertise in DSNP Strategies State-Specific Strategies: Provide expertise in Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (DSNP) financial strategies across all states, ensuring compliance and optimal performance.
