About The Position

We’re hiring a Director of Finance & Operations — a hands-on, resourceful operator who thrives wearing many hats and taking full ownership across finance, operations, legal, and HR. This is a foundational role: you will partner closely with the CEO, build core business systems from the ground up, and keep the company running smoothly as we scale from early-stage to high-growth. If you’re someone who is energized by rolling up your sleeves, solving problems independently, and building structure in a dynamic environment, this role is for you.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in finance, operations, or a similar cross-functional role (hardware or consumer products a plus).
  • A proactive self-starter — you don’t wait to be told; you find what needs doing and get it done.
  • Exceptionally organized with strong operational instincts.
  • Highly reliable, positive, and resourceful — someone people trust to execute.
  • Comfortable in early-stage ambiguity; able to build processes from zero.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial fluency; excellent with spreadsheets and modeling.
  • Ego-free, and collaborative — you elevate the team simply by how you work.
  • Excellent communicator who can switch between high-level strategy and in-the-weeds execution.
  • Motivated to help build a meaningful health & wellbeing company from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage financial models, budgets, forecasts, and scenario planning.
  • Establish and manage accounting, bookkeeping, cash flow management, and credit card/expense workflows.
  • Coordinate financial reporting and support fundraising efforts.
  • Prepare materials and data for investor updates, diligence, and board communication.
  • Own demand planning and unit economics across the hardware business.
  • Manage banking relationships, loans, payments, and financial compliance.
  • Oversee manufacturing timelines and coordinate with hardware, firmware, and supply-chain partners.
  • Develop and manage logistics, order fulfillment partners, and inventory systems.
  • Track production schedules, and inventory health.
  • Build efficient processes that enable us to scale without friction.
  • Serve as the operational point person for launch readiness and product rollout.
  • Manage vendor agreements, NDAs, and contract workflows.
  • Maintain corporate governance documents and compliance cadence.
  • Administer equity through Carta and support cap table updates.
  • Coordinate insurance needs and risk management across the business.
  • Support onboarding, payroll coordination, and HR administration.
  • Support hiring processes, including role scoping, candidate coordination, and scheduling.
  • Help shape team culture, internal communication, and rhythms as we grow.
  • Manage benefits enrollment and employee documentation.
