Director of Finance/Market Chief Financial Officer
About The Position
The Director of Finance/Market Chief Financial Officer is a senior member of the market’s management teams participating in the financial and functional decision-making process necessary for the success of our mission. The individual will direct a team responsible for the overall financial planning and analysis of the region’s care delivery operations, in conjunction with the system Director of finance planning and analysis. The director will participate in various organizational and community meetings to present or discuss the financial status of the multiple medical campuses within their respective region.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- Ten years progressive experience in finance.
- Five years management or leadership experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with verbal, non-verbal and written communications skills.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- Experience as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) level within an acute care environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) awarded by the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
