About The Position

The Director of Field Service Operations is responsible for directing, planning, and managing the company’s Copier Service, Install and Shred Division and policies to ensure achievement of company goals and objectives. The Director of Field Service Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the Executive Management team through the Vice President of Field Service Operations to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and seven years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License, proof of personal insurance and an acceptable driving record.
  • Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications, Outlook and company and client specific programs.
  • Excellent communication skills in working with and relating to people at all levels of an organization.
  • Function as a good educator who is trustworthy and willing to share information and serve as a mentor.
  • Energetic, forward-thinking, and creative.
  • Act as a strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus.
  • Well organized and self-directed while being a team player.
  • Highly decisive possessing a “big picture” perspective.
  • Treat people with respect, work with integrity and ethically and uphold organizational values.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Sharp, Canon, HP and/or Konica direct service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and management to Copier Service, Install and Shred divisions which include: o Providing direction and support to ensure timely, high quality and cost-effective product service to our clients.
  • Ensuring a high level of client satisfaction by acting as a point of contact or go to person to handle escalated issues and questions.
  • Enabling and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitoring service activity and financials.
  • Identification and presentation of new service or product offerings, opportunities, and threats to ensure that Copier Service, Install and Shred divisions are responsive to the needs of the company’s growth and changing objectives.
  • Provide weekly metrics and reports to the Vice President of Field Service Operations regarding the division’s performance.
  • Administer and control the Copier Service, Install and Shred division expense budget to contribute to a cost-effective operation.
  • Conduct monthly MORs with Copier Service, Install and Shred including random vehicle inspections for direct reports to ensure proper inventory, service manuals and general vehicle maintenance.
  • Keep abreast of state-of-the-art developments through attendance at trade and professional meetings and seminars, trade shows, literature, and other educational activities.
  • Participate in the development of the company’s strategic plan including planning projects, organizing, and negotiating the allocation of resources.
  • Understand, endorse, and teach the Marco, Inc. mission, philosophy, culture, and policies.
  • Demonstrate leadership by presenting a positive example, establishing high standards, holding people accountable and maintaining the highest standards of honesty and integrity.
  • Represent the organization as appropriate in its relationships with major customers, suppliers, competitors, bankers, government agencies, professional societies, and similar groups.
  • Attend required company and departmental meetings.
  • Act in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
