About The Position

The Director of Family Services is responsible for rebuilding, leading, and sustaining Infinite Recovery’s Family Services Department. This includes designing the full family program, facilitating family education and support groups, strengthening family engagement across all levels of care, and ensuring a clinically sound, boundary-driven program grounded in trauma-informed practice.

Requirements

  • 3 + years clinical experience in substance use or dual diagnosis treatment.
  • Experience facilitating groups and working with families.
  • Knowledge of addiction recovery, trauma, boundaries, family systems.
  • Program leadership preferred.
  • Experience building redesigning clinical programs is preferred.
  • a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Associate (LPC-Associate), or a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Google Suite, and have the ability to chart on an electronic medical records system.

Responsibilities

  • Recreate and oversee the Infinite Recovery Family Services Program.
  • Develop education curriculum, psychoeducational modules, boundary and communication tools,
  • Build a comprehensive Family Program Manual including SOPs, policies, and workflows.
  • Develop KPIs for family engagement and program outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment with 26 TAC, Joint Commission standards, and IR internal policies.
  • Direct Clinical Services (caseload up to 4 clients)
  • Provide individual therapy, treatment planning, psychoeducation, crisis stabilization.
  • Document all services in EMR according to regulatory standards.
  • Participate in clinical staffing, treatment team collaboration, discharge planning.
  • Facilitate weekly virtual family support groups.
  • Facilitate in-person workshops and family education programming.
  • Create curriculum on addiction, mental health, trauma, relapse, communication, and family systems.
  • Serve as liaison for families navigating crises or high-conflict situations.
  • Guide families through level-of- care transitions, relapse episodes, and discharge planning.
  • Coordinate communication between families and treatment teams.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Directors, therapists, detox leadership, alumni services, and admissions.
  • Ensure continuity of care and clear communication pathways.
  • Rebuild the Family Services Department following leadership transition.
  • Recommend staffing, scheduling, and long-term department structure.
  • Train staff on family systems, boundaries, and trauma informed practices.
  • Ensure compliance with 26 TAC, Joint Commission, HIPAA.
  • Maintain documentation standards, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Participate in audits, chart reviews, and compliance improvements.
