About The Position

Everfox protects the world’s most critical data and systems in highly regulated, mission-critical environments. The Director of Facilities provides enterprise leadership for Everfox’s physical environments—ensuring offices, secure facilities, and SCIF-enabled locations are safe, compliant, resilient, and aligned with Everfox’s security-first, execution-driven culture. This role is accountable for defining and executing a facilities strategy that supports business growth, workforce needs, and national security obligations. The Director of Facilities operates with high trust and enterprise-wide visibility, partnering closely with Security, Legal, HR, IT, Finance, and business leaders to ensure Everfox’s physical footprint enables mission execution while meeting the highest regulatory and compliance standards. As a senior leader, the Director of Facilities balances long-term planning with operational excellence—driving consistency, risk mitigation, and disciplined execution across a distributed, security-sensitive environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive facilities leadership experience, preferably in highly regulated or security-sensitive environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing secure facilities and SCIFs.
  • Proven partnership with FSOs, program managers, and security organizations.
  • Enterprise mindset with the ability to operate independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong judgment when balancing operational urgency, security requirements, and risk.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and deliver results through others.
  • High level of discretion, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Established experience of leading through change with process creation, improvement and implementation.
  • Dynamic executive presence to collaborate with senior leadership team and advise C-Suite.
  • Deep knowledge of facilities operations, compliance, and risk management.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.
  • Expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and service delivery oversight.
  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience supporting government customers or defense technology organizations.
  • Familiarity with cleared workforce and classified environments beyond ICD 705 (e.g., additional federal or intelligence community standards).

Responsibilities

  • Facilities Strategy & Governance Define and execute an enterprise facilities strategy aligned with Everfox’s growth plans, security posture, and workforce requirements. Establish and enforce facilities standards, policies, and governance across all global (U.S. locations and 2 UK locations). Lead multi-site planning initiatives, including new site selection, buildouts, renovations, consolidations, security considerations, and exits.
  • Secure Facilities & SCIF Oversight Provide executive oversight of high-security facilities and SCIFs in compliance with ICD 705, DoD, and other applicable government standards, and maintaining awareness of applicable standards and regulations. Partner closely with the Director, Federal Security and Facility Security Officers (FSOs) in the US and the UK on maintaining accreditations, inspection readiness, and corrective action plans. Ensure secure environments support mission execution while maintaining operational efficiency and safety. Support operational security in collaboration with the FSOs.
  • Operational Excellence & Risk Management Own day-to-day facilities operations, including maintenance, safety programs, security systems, emergency preparedness, and business continuity planning. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate physical, operational, and compliance risks across the facilities portfolio. Establish clear escalation paths and decision rights to support speed, accountability, and risk discipline.
  • Financial Stewardship & Vendor Management Develop and manage facilities budgets, forecasts, and multi-year capital plans. Lead vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management for facilities-related services. Ensure disciplined cost management while maintaining reliability, safety, and compliance.
  • People Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing facilities team capable of operating in regulated, high-accountability environments. Partner with Security, Legal, HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, and business leaders to enable operational and strategic outcomes. Build trust-based relationships that improve coordination, decision quality, and execution across the enterprise.
  • Workplace Experience & Culture Enablement Design and maintain facilities that reinforce Everfox’s culture, values, and ways of working while meeting security requirements. Balance collaboration, safety, and employee well-being within the constraints of secure and regulated environments. Ensure facilities support productivity, resilience, and employee engagement.
