About The Position

The Director of ERP / Enterprise Applications is to lead a large-scale Business Systems Optimization initiative across critical enterprise platforms, including Deltek Costpoint 8.2, Spectrum CLM, ADP HRIS, and Salesforce. Reporting to the CIO. this role will serve as the primary Agile delivery leader, driving cross-functional alignment, execution excellence, and continuous improvement across ECS finance, contracts, HR, and CRM systems. This role ensures enterprise systems operate as a unified, scalable, and reliable platform that enables efficient operations, data integrity, automation, and executive decision-making. The Director partners closely with Finance, HR, Operations, Contracts, and IT leadership to align business priorities with technology strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise applications or ERP leadership
  • 6+ years leading ERP strategy, implementations, or major transformations
  • Competency in enterprise finance, HR, contracts, and CRM business processes and operations workflows with hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of 1-2+ of the following platforms: Deltek Costpoint (8.x preferred) Spectrum Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) ADP HRIS Salesforce
  • Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, and business operations workflows
  • Experience leading enterprise integrations and data governance initiatives
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders (CFO, CIO, CHRO, COO)
  • Experience managing vendors, system integrators, and SaaS platform
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum leadership experience scaling Agile beyond a single team (program, portfolio, or enterprise level)

Responsibilities

  • Own the enterprise ERP platform roadmap, strategy, and lifecycle management
  • Ensure ERP supports finance, accounting, project management, and operational workflows
  • Lead ERP upgrades, enhancements, and modernization initiatives
  • Establish ERP governance, standards, and best practices
  • Oversee the enterprise applications ecosystem, typically including: HRIS (ADP, Workday, etc.) CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.) Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Financial planning and reporting tools
  • Ensure systems operate as an integrated ecosystem rather than standalone tools
  • Define system-of-record ownership across the enterprise
  • Lead enterprise integrations and API strategy
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems
  • Eliminate redundant workflows and manual data entry
  • Establish enterprise data governance and reporting standards
  • Partner with Finance, HR, Contracts, and Operations leaders to: Analyze current workflows Identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities Design optimized end-to-end business processes
  • Lead digital transformation and automation initiatives across enterprise operations
  • Manage relationships with ERP and enterprise software vendors
  • Oversee implementation partners and system integrators
  • Evaluate new enterprise tools and technologies
  • Optimize licensing, cost, and vendor performance
  • Lead large-scale enterprise system implementations and upgrades
  • Establish delivery frameworks (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall as appropriate)
  • Drive organizational change management and user adoption
  • Provide executive reporting on system health, risks, and progress
  • Build and lead teams responsible for: ERP administration Enterprise integrations Business systems analysts Application support and optimization
  • Coach teams on enterprise delivery best practices and continuous improvement
