About The Position

Play a key role in defining and executing technology strategies across a diverse family of companies in the building of products manufacturing, distribution, services and transportation industries. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Applications you will lead a team of technology professionals accountable for the design, development and implementation of complex software solutions including SAP S/4, Transportation Management and Business Technology Platform and other Enterprise solutions. Engage with business stakeholders across the Pacific Coast Building Products family of companies to influence and develop a strategic business enablement roadmap. Manage a large portfolio of new developments, enhancements, maintenance projects to successful completion navigating quality, schedule and competing priorities. Supports organization objectives by developing goals and strategies for SAP S/4 software support team.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in IT business systems leadership
  • 10+ years of expertise in ERP systems, especially in finance, GRC, inventory, sales and distribution, manufacturing and logistics with 5-7 years specifically with SAP ERP
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent experience
  • Ability to engage and influence Executive Leadership
  • Ability to create crisp and engaging Executive Management presentations
  • Demonstrated success in change management, project execution, process improvement and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience developing and managing configuration management processes

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in related field
  • Prior experience working in Manufacturing or Distribution industry
  • Experience with one or more of the following SAP S/4 modules: SAP-FI, SAP-TR, SAP-PS, SAP-MM, SAP-PM, SAP-SD, and/or SAP-HCM
  • SAP Security Administration and/or GRC expertise
  • SAP Business Technology Platform knowledge
  • Knowledgeable in a variety of integration protocols and platforms, including, SAP Cloud Portal Integration, Seeburger, restful API, EDI, etc.
  • Experience with Dev/Ops CI/CD model, tools and processes

  • Promote technological advances, creating an environment where people and technology thrive together
  • Identify Artificial Intelligence use cases, promote the development of AI agents to drive automation, collaborate with innovation team to establish strong AI governance and policy standards
  • Cultivate relationships with executive leadership across the organization
  • Translate business needs into scalable IT solutions and influence cross-company stakeholders
  • Promote a positive, inclusive and resilient team culture aligned with organization values
  • Lead project initiatives for IT enterprise software, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
  • Manage portfolio of new development, enhancements, incident remediation and maintenance initiatives
  • Oversee ERP change control processes, ensuring alignment with established policies and processes
  • Maintain staff through recruiting, candidate selection, on-boarding and training
  • Provide leadership coaching and mentorship to continually develop staff capabilities to strengthen understanding of business issues, best practices and technology innovations
  • Develop and communicate department objectives; inspire and motivate team members to achieve results.
