About The Position

You'll lead the environmental services program at an assisted living facility in Staten Island, taking full ownership of both housekeeping and maintenance operations. This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions directly shape the quality of life for every resident — ensuring their home is clean, safe, and well-maintained every single day.

Requirements

2+ years of supervisory experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or a related environmental services field
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, supplies, and equipment effectively
Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in a residential or healthcare setting
Excellent communication and leadership skills — you can motivate a team and solve problems on the fly

Responsibilities

Lead housekeeping and maintenance teams , setting expectations and directing daily workflows to keep the facility running smoothly
Build and refine environmental services policies and procedures that raise operational standards across departments
Conduct regular facility inspections to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal benchmarks
Own your budget — manage spending on supplies, equipment, and resources to keep operations efficient without cutting corners
Partner with department heads across the facility to coordinate services and resolve issues before they affect residents
Develop your team through hands-on coaching, structured training, and honest performance evaluations that help staff grow
