Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business (M.BA.) preferred
  • Prior experience in leadership role, minimum of three to five 5 years preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in program planning, organization, implementation, and operations. This must have included responsibility for strategic planning, business development and market research
  • Three to five years’ experience in the MICU field preferred
  • Proficiency in the management of hospital financial issues related to budgeting, cash management, capital finance, and performance evaluations
  • Knowledge of insurance matters, regulations, reimbursement, and information systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Customer service experience and demonstrated experience and ability in leading and initiating key projects, allocating resources, and achieving results are required
  • Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing all elements of the Emergency Medical Services Department including human and material resource management, quality and patient safety, managing and developing staff and participating in strategy development for growth in the department, develops, implements; and monitors new business initiatives for EMS/ED, and data collection for internal and external reporting and quality assurances.
