For more information, visit us at http://www.gibsonhomewares.com Job Title: Director of Ecommerce Sales (Amazon Vendor Central) The Director of Amazon Sales & Operations is responsible for supporting the VP of E-Commerce and the sales team in managing and growing the company's Amazon and digital business, with a strong focus on Amazon Vendor Central operations, Amazon Advertising, and internal operational coordination. This role takes ownership in partnering with internal teams, customers, and licensees to drive growth across Gibson's expansive digital portfolio of CPG brands within the home and kitchen category, including Calphalon, Martha Stewart, Sur La Table, Gibson Home, Gibson Elite, Bloomhouse, Oster, Crock-Pot, Babish, Peanuts, and other nationally recognized brands.

Requirements

  • Los Angeles-based, relocation available
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon Advertising in a high-volume environment
  • Entrepreneurial, growth-driven mindset with the ability to use analytics and data to scale the digital business while also possessing strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across departments and with external partners and customers.
  • Proven experience handling Andon cords, chargebacks, shortages, co-op, accruals, and contribution margin drivers.
  • In-house role, Monday through Friday, must be commutable to Los Angeles daily.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, operationally complex environment.
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Ads Console, and tools such as Intentwise, Stackline, and/or similar analytics platforms.
  • CPG Experience

Responsibilities

  • In-house Amazon sales and operations support, Monday through Friday, working closely with the VP of E-Commerce and the broader e-commerce team.
  • Working with appropriate internal teams to communicate all day-to-day Amazon Vendor Central activity, including PO confirmations, shortages, cancellations, chargebacks, Andon cords, shipment window issues, routing problems, and ongoing communication with Amazon
  • Managing and optimizing Amazon Advertising, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP when applicable, with responsibility for budgets, ROAS, TACOS, and scalable performance growth.
  • Maximizing brand stores, SEO, conversion, and overall listing quality to optimize products within Amazon's flywheel
  • Acting as the primary bridge between Amazon and internal departments by translating Vendor Central issues into clear action steps for Supply Chain, Order Management, Purchasing, Logistics, and Finance.
  • Supporting Amazon sales growth through new product launches, assortment expansion, promotional execution, pricing support, and inventory alignment.
  • Working closely with Creative and Marketing teams to ensure PDPs, brand content, and advertising creative support conversion and growth.
  • Identifying process improvements that reduce operational errors, chargebacks, shortages, and Andon cord incidents over time.
  • Supporting strategic initiatives related to Amazon while being well-equipped to assist with other e-commerce platforms such as Wayfair, Walmart, TikTok, Shopify, Target, etc.
