The Executive Opportunity We are seeking a Director of E-Commerce & Strategic Accounts to join our leadership team and drive the next phase of our expansion. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to negotiate effectively with tough retail buyers and present clear strategic updates to the C-Suite.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial literacy is non-negotiable. You must be able to read a P&L, calculate Contribution Margin, manage budgets, and understand the impact of returns/allowances on net profit.
  • Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and forecasting modeling are daily tools).
  • Microsoft Word/PowerPoint: Ability to create professional presentations and proposals for major retail partners.
  • E-Com Platforms: Proficiency with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and Retailer Portals (Home Depot IDM, Wayfair Partner Home).
  • Experience: 7+ years in E-Commerce sales, with a specific track record of managing Wayfair, Home Depot, and Amazon .
  • Industry Fit: Knowledge of the lighting industry is not a requirement.
  • Growth Track Record: You must be able to demonstrate how built high volume sales in your industry.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management (Wayfair, Home Depot, Lamps Plus) Relationship Growth: Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers and category managers at key partners (Wayfair, Lamps Plus, Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.).
  • Program Participation: Negotiate and execute entry into high-volume retailer programs (e.g., Wayfair’s Way Day , Home Depot’s Special Buy events).
  • Assortment Expansion: Analyze partner gaps to push new product placement and increase our "share of shelf" on their digital storefronts.
  • Direct-to-Consumer & Marketplace Strategy DTC Website: Own the P&L and user experience for our brand site. Lead strategies to increase traffic, Conversion Rate (CR), and Average Order Value (AOV).
  • Amazon & Walmart Marketplace: Manage the day-to-day health of our Amazon (Seller/Vendor) and Walmart accounts. Secure the "Buy Box," manage FBA/FBM strategies, and optimize listings for SEO.
  • Digital Marketing & Promotions Leadership Unified Calendar: Create a master promotional calendar that aligns our DTC efforts with retailer-specific events.
  • Retail Media: Manage budgets and strategy for retailer-specific advertising platforms (e.g., Wayfair Sponsored Products, Home Depot Retail Media, Amazon PPC).
