The Director of Dual Language Curriculum (K-5) role is an exciting opportunity for an individual with deep content knowledge of simultaneous biliteracy instruction, a passion for curriculum, and the ability to leverage content-based coaching strategies to build the capacity of instructional leaders. This role is committed to advancing social justice and culturally relevant pedagogy and aims to influence the future of bilingual program’s curriculum and instruction across KIPP Texas and beyond. The Director will play a critical state-level role in driving improved student results by ensuring every student has access to rigorous, excellent, grade-level curriculum implemented in KIPP schools across Houston, Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio. The role encompasses curriculum design, adoption & selection, vetting, connection to instruction, assessment creation, data analysis, professional development, and instructional coaching.
