The Director of Dining Experience is responsible for the entire operation of the culinary department, including the training and supervision of all department associates, maintaining inventory of food, supplies and equipment, managing the budget, preparing and serving food/refreshments, overseeing set­up for all meals and special events, and ensuring the cleanliness and smooth functioning of the kitchen and dining room to provide a gracious dining experience for residents. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Degree in Culinary Arts or Restaurant Service, preferred Certification : Food Safety certification, required Experience: Previous experience cooking in a similar environment, working under pressure in a fast-paced setting; ability to lead a team effectively Physical requirements : Lifting trays and dishes, occasionally moving dining tables and furniture Communication : An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise. Requirements
