About The Position

The Director of Digital Marketing plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing Frontier’s marketing strategy to drive growth, enhance brand visibility, and deepen engagement with financial advisors and partners. This leader will build a modern, data-driven, and AI-ready marketing organization that connects marketing performance directly to business outcomes. This role requires a proven marketing leader in the financial services industry — someone with a balance of creative vision, strategic thinking, and technical acumen — who can elevate Frontier’s brand and digital presence while leading an in-house marketing team and collaborating with agency partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within financial services, asset management, or fintech.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent).
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and external agencies.
  • Proven ability to translate complex investment or product strategies into clear, compelling messages.
  • Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in data-driven marketing and performance measurement.
  • Deep familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in financial marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Zoom

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing vision and strategy aligned with Frontier’s overarching business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Partner closely with Director of Client Engagement, National Accounts, and the National Sales Manager to translate marketing performance into business impact, using data and insight to guide decisions.
  • Oversee relationships with agency and technology partners, ensuring efficient collaboration and alignment to Frontier’s goals.
  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget.
  • Working with the Director of Client Engagement and the marketing team, define and refine Frontier’s brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition to clearly differentiate Frontier in the marketplace.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital, print, and advisor-facing communications.
  • Collaborate with investment and strategy teams to align product messaging with overall brand positioning and sales efforts.
  • Oversee all digital marketing channels — including website, SEO/GEO, paid media, email marketing, and social media — with a focus on measurable growth, lead generation, and advisor engagement.
  • Transform Frontier’s website into a dynamic advisor hub that delivers personalized, data-driven experiences and integrates directly with CRM and analytics systems.
  • Modernize our content ecosystem, moving from static PDFs to interactive, digital-first formats that are trackable, personalized, and accessible to advisors in real time.
  • Champion the implementation of a Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Business Intelligence (BI) system to unify advisor insights, improve lead quality, and measure the true impact of marketing.
  • Drive automation and AI integration across marketing and CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or other) to enable predictive marketing, compliance-ready personalization, and faster RFP population.
  • Lead the team responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns, collateral, presentations, and promotional materials that reinforce Frontier’s value proposition.
  • Oversee the team responsible for the planning and execution of webinars, virtual events, and presentations that expand Frontier’s visibility, showcase thought leadership, and deepen engagement with key advisor audiences.
  • Use data and advisor insights to guide the creation of relevant, interactive, and timely content across all channels.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing effectiveness, campaign ROI, lead quality, and overall brand impact.
  • Partner with the data technology team to build real-time dashboards that connect marketing efforts directly to advisor flows and business growth.
  • Analyze market trends, client insights, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and AI advancements that can enhance marketing performance and efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of testing, learning, and continuous optimization within the team.
  • Drive alignment across marketing, sales, and investment teams to ensure cohesive execution of Frontier’s go-to-market strategy.
