About The Position

The Director of Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for overseeing all imaging services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving excellence in patient care, safety, and operational performance. This leadership role focuses on team development, workflow optimization, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.

Requirements

• Associate Degree (required)
• ARRT certification (required)
• Minimum 5+ years of diagnostic imaging experience
• At least 1 year of Director-level leadership experience in imaging
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage diagnostic imaging departments, including technologists and supervisors (~50 FTEs)
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
• Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and satisfaction initiatives
• Oversee departmental scheduling, staffing, and workflow efficiency
• Manage budgets, inventory, and resource allocation
• Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with best practices
• Foster a positive team culture and employee engagement
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support operational goals
