About The Position

The University of Central Arkansas is seeking a dynamic and highly organized professional as its Senior Director of Development for the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences ( CAHSS ). This position will work closely with and report to the Associate Vice President for Campaign and Development and works in coordination with the Dean of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. This position will be responsible for designing and implementing major gift fundraising strategies in support of the University of Central Arkansas’ mission and goals. The potential candidate will primarily serve the CAHSS in supporting its initiatives and priorities with the interests and passions of donors advancing successful major gift partnerships. This position will also focus on the qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors capable of making a deferred gift to the University, regardless of their academic background or affiliation. UCA recently completed its $100M comprehensive capital campaign, UCA Now: Impact Arkansas and Beyond, ten-months early and $9M over goal. There is great momentum for success for the university overall and fundraising specifically.
