UT Southwestern's Williams P. Clements Jr. University Hospital is ranked #1 in Texas and Top 20 in the United States. North Texas continues to rank as a top destination for corporate relocations and general population growth. The Director of Development (DOD) will report directly to the Associate Vice President of Development and will focus on managing an active gift portfolio of major gift donors as well as growing the donor pipeline of new donors for the OBI. The DOD is primarily externally facing, will have experience securing major gifts ($50K+) and principal gifts ($1M+) from individuals and families, and will possess high emotional intelligence and the maturity to engage leading philanthropists, and faculty leaders. This fundraising professional will enjoy the challenge of discovery and building new relationships. Possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills, this individual should embrace collaboration, thrive in a team-first environment, and possess a deep passion for advancing the work and mission of UT Southwestern.
