About The Position

The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado (BBBSC) is to create and support mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in data strategy, analytics, or systems management; nonprofit experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional data initiatives and manage complex systems.
  • Expertise in CRM platforms (specifically Salesforce and Raiser’s Edge), program data systems, and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and mission driven work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Data Strategy & Oversight Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Establish and maintain data governance standards, policies, and best practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all systems.
  • Lead data-related projects, including system upgrades, automations, migrations, and integrations.
  • Provide oversight for core data systems, including Salesforce, Matchforce, and other agency platforms.
  • Drive a data-driven culture within the organization, promoting data literacy and informed decision-making.
  • Analytics & Insights Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to generate actionable insights.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools for workflow management, program and community stakeholder tracking, and internal process and project management.
  • Translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on organizational impact metrics, KPIs, and outcomes Impact Measurement & Evaluation Design outcomes frameworks to measure effectiveness and track organizational impact.
  • Partner with departments to ensure data driven performance evaluation and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with Executive Leadership to develop impact reports and stakeholder presentations, including materials for prospective grants, funding sources, schools, and community based partnerships.
  • Gather, analyze, and provide all required data for the annual report and any additional impact reports as requested.
  • Technology & Innovation Evaluate and implement tools for data visualization, analytics, and reporting.
  • Establish and manage data systems and automations Manage relationships with data system vendors and consultants.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in data science and impact measurement.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration Collaborate with programs, finance, and operations teams to understand KPI’s and measure outcomes.
  • Provide training and support to staff on data systems and best practices.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other duties as assigned.
