Director of Data Analytics and Business Systems
About The Position
Legora is on a mission to redefine how legal work gets done by building an AI-native workspace with legal professionals, empowering them to work faster and unlock new insights. As a Director of Business Analytics and Business Systems at Legora, you will lead the data and systems that power decision-making across the company. This central role involves owning the analytics function and its enabling systems, defining the data strategy, building scalable infrastructure, and ensuring teams have the necessary insights and tools to operate effectively. You will partner closely with leaders across Finance, GTM, Product, and Operations to transform data into a strategic advantage.
Requirements
- Strong experience in analytics, business intelligence, data, or business systems
- Proven experience building and scaling analytics or business systems functions in a high-growth environment
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and analytics best practices
- Experience managing core business systems such as CRM, ERP, and BI tools
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect data to business outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience partnering with senior leadership
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Nice To Haves
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, or other data-driven industries
- Familiarity with modern data stacks
- Experience with RevOps, FP&A, or go-to-market analytics
- Background in SQL, Python, or other data tools
- Experience supporting executive reporting and board materials
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the company’s analytics and business systems strategy, aligned with overall business goals
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team across analytics, data, and business systems
- Own the development of dashboards, reporting frameworks, and KPIs that drive decision-making across teams
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities, measure performance, and unlock growth
- Oversee the architecture, implementation, and optimization of core business systems
- Drive automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership and board-level discussions
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to support evolving business needs
