About The Position

The Children's Home of Wyoming Conference partners with children, families and communities throughout New York State to inspire hope, develop skills and cultivate healthy relationships for positive futures. Position Summary: The Community Response and Engagement Support Team (CREST) team provides intensive, short-term, in-home crisis services to parents of young children. The team works collaboratively with families to stabilize the crisis, assess needs, and build coping strategies. The director provides supervision to the team, builds community connections, and oversees funding and billing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience in preventive casework preferred
• Experience in community-based services preferred
• Driver's License and ability to maintain insurability throughout employment required

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of an intensive preventive program contracted through Cortland County DSS.
• Supervise 2 caseworkers who will each have a small caseload of 6 families.
• Ensure all agency and OCFS preventive regulations are followed.
• Ensure integration of Medicaid funded services into the program.
• Commitment to strong community collaboration and community based care.
