We want every customer to have access to financing for their dream ride. We have an immediate need for a Director of Credit Operations to join our team located in Beverly, MA. You will lead the originations needs for the organization for Motorcycle, Powersports, RV and Marine assets. This role is ONSITE. Make a difference as a Director of Credit Operations The Director of Credit Operations at Ironhorse Funding LLC plays a pivotal role in the end-to-end execution of underwriting, processing, and funding operations. This position directly supports our transition to an institutional operating model, prioritizing throughput, consistency, and high-quality credit execution. You will lead a talented originations team by setting clear expectations, providing coaching, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture. Your responsibilities will include managing the full loan origination workflow, ensuring efficient pipeline velocity, and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track metrics such as time-to-decision and accuracy rates. Additionally, you will partner closely with Credit Risk Leadership and Sales, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while continuously improving processes for scalability. By owning vendor relationships and collaborating with Data & Analytics, you will provide critical insights that drive operational excellence, all while embodying our core values of Serve & Help, Teamwork and Communication, Adaptability, Accountability, Respect & Integrity. Requirements for this Director of Credit Operations job To excel as the Director of Credit Operations at Ironhorse Funding LLC, candidates must possess a unique blend of skills and experience. Operational leadership and execution discipline are paramount, ensuring that the team adheres to established workflows and processes. An understanding of credit and underwriting processes is essential, as is the ability to design efficient workflows for optimal performance. Candidates should also demonstrate emotional intelligence to effectively lead and communicate across all levels of the organization. Data-driven decision-making skills are critical to analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvements. With supervisory responsibilities, the role requires experience managing, leading, and coaching teams in underwriting, processing, and funding. A background of 7–12+ years in consumer or specialty finance, along with proven success in scaling operations within high-growth environments, will help inform strategies that align with our core values of Serve & Help, Teamwork and Communication, Adaptability, Accountability, Respect & Integrity.
