The Global Advertising and Brand Management (GABM) team is responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce for American Express products and services through differentiated and innovative branding, marketing, and experiences. We are focused on developing forward thinking ideas and work across channels, end-to-end experiences in digital and beyond. The Director of Creative Strategy will play a pivotal role in driving creative innovation for our in-house agency. This leader will uncover actionable insights, define creative territories, and craft strategies that enable American Express to connect meaningfully with Card Members and prospects. They will lead a team of creative strategists to deliver strategic work that fuels cutting-edge digital campaigns and connected customer experiences, specifically across American Express consumer products, benefits, and services. The ideal candidate will bring a relentless curiosity for creative, cultural, and digital trends, along with a drive to uncover opportunities in emerging platforms. They will have the unique ability to analyze and transform data and insights into actionable creative briefs that lead to best-in-class creative solutions for our marketing partners.
