About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: The Director of the Counseling Center is responsible for the oversight, staff supervision and coordination of The Center's mental health and counseling services.

Requirements

• Ph.D/Psy.D.in clinical or counseling psychology preferred
• Professional license in the state of South Carolina required. Professional licenses may include LISW, LPC or LMFT.
• Minimum of five years of experience working in a mental health setting with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations, and treatment assessments.
• Must be proficient with various software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and electronic communication.
• Know or have the ability to quickly learn any database system required.
• Must be able to pass standard background checks, including: drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry and Sex Offenders Registry.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer seven years of progressive experience with at least two years in a leadership position.
