About The Position

Position Summary: The Director of Corporate Relations (NW Region) is a full-time role responsible for cultivating and strengthening relationships with corporate partners across the Northwest Sub-Region, including Cobb, Cherokee, Douglas, North Fulton, and Paulding counties. This position plays a key role in advancing United Way of Greater Atlanta’s mission through strategic engagement, revenue generation, and partnership development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years in donor development, fundraising, sales, or similar field
  • Demonstrated experience cultivating, soliciting, and securing gifts.
  • Proven ability to create and execute successful strategic plans.
  • Experience with CRM/database management.
  • Superb written, presentation, persuasion, and listening skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and innovation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Exceed yearly revenue and metric-driven goals (visits, solicitations, etc).
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving ability, & excellent project management skills.
  • Organization skills for a fast-paced work environment.
  • Commitment to excellence, discretion, accountability, transparency and UWGA’s mission.
  • Ability to analyze financial data for discovery, strategy, and planning purposes
  • Mission focused, relationship oriented, collaborator that is results-driven and a brand steward.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate relationships with decision-makers and C-suite leaders; steward a dynamic portfolio of 50 corporate partnerships to drive revenue, deepen engagement, and amplify impact.
  • Achieve annual revenue targets as established by regional leadership.
  • Develop, manage, and execute a comprehensive year-round engagement strategy aligned with UWGA’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Conduct outreach through phone, email, and in-person meetings to advance partnership goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of activities and outcomes in UWGA’s CRM system, in accordance with internal policies.
  • Foster collaboration across departments, particularly with colleagues in the Office of Development, to support shared goals and initiatives.
  • Increase awareness and understanding of the Child Well-Being Movement among corporate partners, donors, and key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of United Way’s funding priorities, initiatives, and partnership offerings.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to manage a high-volume workload with precision and attention to detail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Director.
