About The Position

This position has a flexible base location within any of our three Giving Factory markets – Greater Boston, Chicagoland or Philadelphia. This role is primarily remote and will occasionally be asked to work in person in one of our Giving Factories. All Cradles to Crayons staff participate in monthly in-person volunteer shifts to stay closely connected to our mission. The Director of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for designing, launching, and scaling a national corporate partnership program that deepens engagement, increases revenue, and fuels mission impact. This role will develop a comprehensive corporate partnership strategy, cultivate and steward high value corporate relationships, and lead to the creation and execution of a meaningful corporate volunteer engagement program. Cradles to Crayons has a best-in-class corporate volunteer engagement experience in our Giving Factories. Our current model provides impactful engagement opportunities for employees, builds brand awareness and visibility for both the corporate partners and C2C, and reflects a transformative relationship in which each institution is strengthened by the other’s unique contributions. Collectively, over 19,000 corporate employees volunteer in our Giving Factories on an annual basis across our three Giving Factories, with representation from nearly 900 companies across our markets. As we embark on an ambitious strategic plan to scale and grow, we want to grow these experiences to corporations around the country, extending that best-in-class experience outside of the walls of our Giving Factories to build more partnerships and in turn, help more children in need. This role requires a strategic thinker, strong relationship builder, and entrepreneurial leader who can operate both at the big picture level and with hands on execution.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience in corporate fundraising, account management or related field
  • Passion for the C2C mission and commitment to, and alignment with, C2C values and norms.
  • Demonstrated success securing major corporate gifts
  • Experience working in multi-site and/or national non-profit organizations
  • Learning mindset, who understands the importance of listening and understanding local context, while mobilizing toward a bold national vision
  • Experience building a new program or revenue stream from the ground up
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Excellent project management, organization and operational skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to design systems and processes
  • Ability to manage complex logistics for events
  • Fluency in Salesforce or other CRM

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Partnership Strategy and Program Development
  • Build and implement a comprehensive corporate partnership strategy aligned with the organization’s mission, priorities, and revenue goals
  • Develop a national partnership framework that includes national sponsorships, recognition, cause marketing, in-kind giving and local employee engagement
  • Create partnership tiers, benefits packages, revenue models, and stewardship plans that integrate national and local offerings and benefits
  • Develop internal processes, support and systems for pipeline management, tracking, and reporting
  • Work cross functionally to ensure program integration across development, operations, marketing, and finance Reimagining Corporate Volunteer Engagement Programs Beyond Giving Factories
  • Lead the creation of a scalable, financially and operationally sustainable corporate volunteer engagement program
  • Identify a menu of curated experiences that serve our mission and coordinate product logistics, sourcing, production, and distribution workflows
  • Develop pricing structures, sponsorship levels, and engagement add ons
  • Coordinate across teams to ensure product relevance, quality, and impact
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for materials sourcing
  • Create marketing materials, toolkits, and resources to promote the volunteer engagement model to corporate prospects Relationship Building & Revenue Generation
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of corporate prospects and current partners in partnership with market corporate teams
  • With support from marketing, develop customized partnership proposals and pitch materials
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and site visits with corporate stakeholders
  • Grow annual revenue from corporate partnerships through both new partnerships and expanded existing relationships
  • Maintain strong year round touchpoints to deepen engagement and retention Data, Reporting & Systems
  • Manage corporate pipeline and partnership data within Salesforce
  • Track deliverables, activation timelines, and recognition benefits
  • Provide regular reports on revenue performance, pipeline health, and program metrics
  • Measure and communicate the impact of corporate partnerships and employee engagement initiatives Cross-Departmental Collaboration
  • Collaborate with market corporate development teams and Executive Directors to ensure alignment and optimize relationship building potential
  • Partner with Marketing & Communications team on building external collateral and resources to outline partnership offerings
  • Coordinate with Operations, Finance, and the Senior Leadership Team to build out program offerings, budget, and track revenue potential Leadership & Organizational Culture
  • Serve as the organization’s internal expert on corporate giving trends, employee engagement and corporate social responsibility
  • Provide regular training and coaching to staff and board on corporate fundraising best practices
